well, since i can't see what it would look like lighter, its hard to say... if it were lighter would there be a lot more colors and lines visible? I sort of liked that it was rather minimalist... so maybe if it were lighter it would be more complex... might be nice or might not, depending on just what the really dark parts would loo like if they were lighter...
